Woooooohoooo!
So I love playing with cameras especially the ones with super-macro modes. Everytime I get my hands on a camera, I always clock the battery. There was this one time I took 1,200 photos in like three days.
I’d lost my photos folder and couldn’t trace it in the myriad of bytes and bits at the office, but guess what? I found them! The entire folder intact. All 6,000+ photos taken by yours truly!
I’ll be posting them here, a few at a time, but some I cannot post cos of my self inflicted anonymousness, they’d tell all y’all who we are. But, solemn promise, I’ll post at least 7 photos a week.
Starting. Now.
1. Fight of the Titans
Got this closeup late one night. Power had chucked so I was using candle light, saw the two chaps flexing, turned off the candle light and illuminated them with a torch. The red background is the carpet in the living room.
2. Just Lounging
Early one saturday morning, frolicking through the grass in the compound at home, I saw this majestic scene. Just had to shoot it.

Hey guys, thanks for the good responses. I can’t for the life of me remember the camera, some friend brought it over sometime, and I just grabbed it, played with the settings and started shooting.
@Iwaya, i think the drama is mostly in the lighting, which was calculated, but spontaneous, since I was doing all sorts of shots that day. You should see the other 20+ blurry pics of the same subject that didn’t make it. Oh, and manual super macro mode for simple point n shoots will allow you to photograph upto 1 inch near your subject, but you require an insane amount of patience, not to mention stability.
Can’t wait to get my hands on an SLR. *dreamy far away look*

Wow! Those pics are FANTASTIC! I wish I had an SLR. As it is, I’m stuck with a low range digital, but at least its optical zoom, so I can do SOME stuff with it.
@Comrade - If its talking, you might want to see a doctor. Because I don’t know about you, but in my experience, that shouldn’t happen.
@DeTamble - How’d you know they were taken on a tripod? Good eye!
